  1. Better Off Using Actual Shampoo

    May 13, 2012 by Amber

Brand: TRESemmeTRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo

Product: Fresh Start Dry Shampoo Volumizing

    Hair Type: For fine/oily hair

Product Description: TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo Volumizing is the perfect solution to clean fine/oily hair without water anytime. It’s formula, with Mineral Clay and Citrus, refreshes your hair by removing oil and odour while injecting volume. Just a quick spray transforms lifeless, limp hair into clean, fresh hair full of bouncy body. It also helps maintain hair colour with less washing.

To Use: Shake vigourously before use and in between spray burts. Spray lightly and evenly on dry hair, holding 8-12 inches from head and leave in for 1-2 minutes. Brush out, then style as usual. If clogging occurs rinse nozzle under water.

    Cost: Approx. $6 CND

Thoughts: TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo is definitely the worst dry shampoo I have ever tried.  It goes on white (and the white doesn’t brush out like it states), and it makes your hair feel gritty as if you just sprayed hair spray all through your roots. It had a nice smell, but it looked so bad in my hair  I had to wash it out and style my hair all over again, which is completely against the point-  dry shampoo is supposed to be a ‘pick me up’ to already styled hair.

Verdict: I do not recommend TRESemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. If you’re looking for a good one, the Got2b dry shampoo is still my favorite!
